Hi, I'm Super McTea, a graduate software developer holding both a Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Arts, with my majors in Games Development and Music Studies respectively. My expertise extends to both programming and sound design, where I am particularly adept in crafting engaging gameplay and captivating audio landscapes. This portfolio showcases my ability to work in a wide variety of applications, though mostly games, and I pride myself on writing clean, efficient code.
In my spare time, I am often experimenting with modular game design and implementing novel and interesting algorithms in order to build up my repertoire. I help manage a code library with the L Stands for Winner team in order to use and reuse these algorithms and designs in later projects, which frees me to stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies such as graphics programming and virtual reality.
I have also gained valuable experience working with a team to develop games in Game Jams as well as various personal projects. These experiences have honed my skills and provided me with a solid foundation in programming and system design, but also as an effective collaborator, communicator, and problem-solver.
And yes, Super McTea is not my real name. However, everything in this portfolio is published under that name, so it only makes sense to use it here too.

L Stands for Winner
My role in the game development process is in writing modular scripts to solve software problems, while learning new skills that we can apply to our games in order to further push ourselves. I am primarily concerned with solving challenging problems that require critical thinking, and optimisation of the algorithms and methods that we use in our projects. I also perform quality assurance on the programs, to ensure that the methods function correctly through rigorous testing.
